HANFORD 2010 Wrap Up

Here's a hearty "Thank You" from Classic Cycle Events to all that came out and made this year’s event the biggest Hanford turn out in years. The attendance on Saturday almost doubled from 2009 and the vendors increased by twenty-five percent over last year.

The weather this year was in the mid 80's as opposed to last year's triple digits, which made a great day even better. If we all keep working at this, the biggest little event in Central California just might enter its “Best Event” period.

The swap meet had some of the best merchandise I've seen in years, something for everyone's taste and budget. British iron of all sorts is still strong, Japanese is gaining in popularity, both in the show and in the swap area. Even the Classic and Vintage European bikes are starting to make a good showing for themselves.

We still have a ways to go to make this the event it once was! Making the vendor spaces bigger worked out great this year and the pedestrian lane going west to east really helped move the shoppers around the vendors area. So mark your calendar for the third Saturday in May 2011, for the 43rd Annual Hanford Vintage Motorcycle Rally.

If you missed out on the event poster's, pin's & T-shirts check out our on-line store for all those great items you wished you picked up when you got home. Quantities are limited on some items, so don't wait too long.

Thanks for your continued support, see you at El Camino, Sept. 18th. 2010. Registration forms are available on-line now, don't wait, we sold out last year and have been accepting forms since April.

See you all there,

Thanks to all for the great bikes entered in the show this year, competition as always was tough, but if not for the fine bunch of judges and the knowledge they bring with them it would be just an awards ceremony. For you that won this year, congratulations on a job well done!
